Welcome to the Kindred Spirits Day School, a one-of-a-kind educational experience for children in Kindergarten to Grade 8. Our school practices a unique approach to teaching, that blends the best elements of the Reggio Emilia, Waldorf and Montessori teaching philosophies with the care and attention of a homeschooling environment. This provides us with the ability to quickly adapt to the changing needs of children today, and empower them daily in their individual learning journeys.

The concept around inquiry-based learning is to follow the interests of the child within the classroom, acknowledging their need for play-based, child-directed learning experiences.

We strongly believe in our connectedness with nature, and work to incorporate nature into our daily rhythm, fostering a deeper sense of self and community with the Earth.

Conscious

We aim to remain conscious of the psychological and sociological influences presented in the classroom, reflecting how we work and communicate with our students in a positive and encouraging way.

We maintain a focus on being able to adapt and remain responsive to the individual needs of each student, learning along-side with them, ensuring they have a truly impactful learning experience.
